Friday, June 16 will start off dry with hazy skies as elevated smoke from Canadian wildfires returns mainly in areas farther south, according to the National Weather Service. Areas that will be most affected by smoke are marked in yellow in the image above.
Showers will develop in the afternoon and continue at times through the evening, with thunderstorms possible from the early afternoon until late in the evening on Friday.
The high temperatures will be in the mid-70s.
About to around three-quarters of an inch of rainfall is possible Friday.
More showers and thunderstorms are expected at times throughout the day on Saturday, June 17.
The high temperature will be in the low 70s.
Another half-inch of rainfall is possible during the day on Saturday.
Father's Day on Sunday, June 18 should be dry for most of the day with partly cloudy skies and a high temperature in the mid-70s.
There will be a chance for showers from the middle of the afternoon to the middle of the evening, but the coverage area for showers will be much less than on Friday and Saturday.
The outlook for Juneteenth on Monday, June 19 calls for dry conditions with partly sunny skies and a high temperature in the low 70s.
